KOCHI: A recent report by the McKinsey Global Institute states that by 2030, 70 percent of jobs in India would be created in cities, and about 5.9 crore Indians would live there. To provide enough housing and commercial space, it says, India must build the equivalent of the city of Chicago every year. THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Government has decided to make all the PWD roads in the Thiruvananthapuram East constituency pothole-free by December 31. In a meeting convened by V Sivankutty MLA, the officials of various departments were asked to carry out works related to sewarage and roads in the area.
