Jamshedpur, Jan. 6: Patna Meteorological Office today said cold wave conditions in Jharkhand would prevail for another 48 hours, even as it sounded a severe cold wave alert for a few isolated places in the state. This is the first time in 15 years that a cold wave has lasted this long in Jharkhand. The current spell set in on January 2.
Jamshedpur, Jan. 5: The agriculture department will set up two agro-terminals under public-private partnership model in Jharkhand. A proposal for the terminals was being prepared and would be sent to the Centre for approval soon, chief minister Arjun Munda told The Telegraph today.

The block agriculture officer (BAO) Aslam Ansari turned him away, stating that the seeds were out of stock.
