Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC), which has been crying itself hoarse blaming the public for misuse of water, has no harvesting facility in place on its own premises. Farmers refused subsidised seeds
Farmer Vishnu Kumar Mandal, a resident of Sitpahari village under Gumro panchayat of the district, trudged 25km today to reach the block headquarters for procuring subsidised seeds of Kharif crops, but in vain. The block agriculture officer (BAO) Aslam Ansari turned him away, stating that the seeds were out of stock.
