First forest bird count in Rasikbeel
The leopard rescue centre and the peafowl enclosure at Rasikbeel Cooch Behar, Feb. 10: In the first official count of birds in the Rasikbeel sanctuary, 66 species of avians were recorded by the forest department which conducted the survey with the help of the Zoological Survey of India and local nature clubs.
