Toxic effects of Cd (NO3)2 on chlorophyll content of soybean and pigeonpea
A study was carried out on toxic effects of cadmium nitrate on chlorophyll content of soybean and pigeon pea for two crop seasons. The concentration studied were 0.01M, 0.001M and 0.0001M. Chlorophyll content markedly decreased in all the treated plants and the decline was directly related to the concentration.

The acute toxicity of phosphate fertilizer on the survival level of Tilapia Zillii fingerlings was determined in 96hr static bioassay. The fish were exposed to different phosphate fertilizer concentrations. During the exposure period, there were frequent attempts at jumping out of the tank, loss of equilibrium, agitated swimming, air gulping and finally death.

The capability of benzophenone-3 (BP-3) to absorb and dissipate ultraviolet radiation facilitates its use as a sunscreen agent. Pesticide causes blindness in fish in Punjab
