11 parking towers got BMC nod before CM put brakes
MUMBAI: The BMC has issued commencement certificates to 11 public parking towers-eight in the Parel-Dadar belt and three in Goregaon-for 15,845 vehicles, according to the latest official figures. The structures will be about 10-15 storey high.

MC to conduct survey of trees affected by paver blocks
Having received criticism from various quarters about the use of paver blocks around the roots of trees, the Municipal Corporation (MC) is all set to get a survey conducted of the trees that have been affected. Thereafter, paver blocks will be removed from the roots of the trees. The survey would be done of the trees on the roads within the purview of the civic body.
