Lucknow deer for Jaldapara
Alipurduar, Dec. 22: The forest department has decided to introduce swamp deer in Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary after it receives six of them from Lucknow Zoo. In exchange, three almost-adult elephants will be sent to the zoo in Uttar Pradesh, V.K. Sood, the conservator of forest wildlife (north), said.
