Pesticide manufacturers have submitted before the Supreme Court that the plea of CPI-M activists for a ban on Endosulfan is politically motivated and sought dismissal of the petition. In its affidavit, the Pesticide Manufacturers & Formulators Association rejected the allegations made by Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) that there were some deaths in Kerala due to use of Endosulfan.
