A plant producing cheese from goat milk will start production at Khajuraho in Chhattarpur district from first week of September. This will be the first and biggest plant in Asia and the cheese produced here will be exported to European countries. Agreements to this effect have already been signed. 300 persons will get direct employment at the plant.
More than 1,65,000 vials of spurious oxytocin were seized from medical stores in Sagar district's Bina town in the first week of this month, police said here today. Oxytocin - misused for enlarging watermelon, gourd, brinjal, cucumber etc besides enhancing milk production in animals - is available in the market for Rs 15 per vial while the fake ones were being sold for 50 paise.

Proposals are also awaited for other districts of the State for establishing similar parks.
