The state Cabinet on Friday approved two solar power plants in Dhule which will generate 150 MW, the largest solar power plant to be set up in the country. Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said the two power plants-one of 125 MW and another of 25 MW-will come up in the Shivaji Nagar area of Dhule. The project will be launched soon and will be operational by March 2012.
This paper aims towards the development of the framework for domestic rooftop harvesting for drinking water. The paper is based on the analysis of survey record of around 50 houses of different rooftop areas of peri-urban area of Dhule city.
