• Judgement of the Supreme Court of India regarding schemes to alleviate the sufferings of the migrant labourers/workers, 29/06/2021

  <p>The Supreme Court of India June 29, 2021 directed all states and Union territories (UT) to implement the &lsquo;One Nation One Ration Card&rsquo; scheme for the benefit of migrant workers by July 31, 2021. It also asked them to bring in an appropriate scheme for distribution of dry ration to migrant labourers till the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic lasts.</p>
