Continuing efforts by civic and health authorities to check the rise in dengue cases notwithstanding, the number crossed the 100 mark on Tuesday.
From 76 cases as on June 1, the number of people diagnosed with the virus reached 106, with a majority of cases reported in Jayanagar, C V Raman Nagar and Mahadevapura. Officials, however, claimed that proactive measures and adequate supply of medicines have been able to prevent deaths.
