JAMMU: Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla, today said that the Government has taken various innovative measures for improving the living standard of the people especially those living in rural and sub-urban areas of the State, adding that fulfilling of people's aspirations and developmental needs is top agenda of the Government.

BHUBANESWAR: The Government has set a target to construct 230 bridges in 201112 out of which 105 will be taken up under state plan.

The works for the constructions of bridges, railway over bridges and under bridges by Public Works Department (PWD) in order to reduce traffic congestion are in progress in the state. The Department is presently executing 14 railway over bridges and 8 under bridges to the tune of Rs 268.21 crore. An amount of Rs 98 crore has been spent till February this fiscal year.
