Oil in sachets a must now

P M Raghunandan, July 29, Bangalore: The State Government has at last has taken a crucial step towards ensuring quality and quantity in the supply of edible oil to consumers. As many as 29 widely-used edible oils, including refined vegetable oil, coconut oil and sunflower oil have to be sold in packaged sachets, henceforth.

Coca-Cola most littered brand in UK

COCA-Cola, one of the most sought after soft drinks across the globe, is the most littered brand in the UK, according to a study.

The survey by Litter Heroes found that the company’s cans and bottles made up for 4.9% of trash in the country. It was followed by empty packets of Walkers Crisps (4.1%) and McDonald’s packaging accounting for 3.4% of the litter.
