Nobel Prize for Sustainable Development
An initiative, led by Dutch Member of Parliament Boris Van Der Ham, British Member of the European Parliament Chris Davies, former youth-representative for the United Nations Ingrid Aaldijk and US-Congress member James Greenwood, will appeal to the Nobel Foundation for a new category - the Nobel Prize for Sustainable Development.
In March 2003, they plan to send a letter, which is available on the Internet for all to sign, to the Nobel Foundation, in Stockholm, Sweden. The letter congratulates the Nobel Foundation for their valuable work and their ability to adapt to changing times. It goes saying: "
