ZAMBIA

Forty officers in Zambia have been given training to ensure that the country's environmental laws are respected and obeyed. The training focussed on topics such as environmental law, investigation of ecocrimes and prosecution for the same. The ministry of environment and natural resources, with the help of Zambian Institute of Advanced Legal Education, trained the team that comprises representatives from the forestry department, Zambia Wildlife Authority and the fisheries department.
