Cleaning specialist Clearway`s ad banned in UK

Cleaning specialist Clearway`s ad banned in UK The uk's advertising standards authority has banned an ad for cleaning specialist Clearway Environmental Services because the real-life images it contained were "too graphic and shocking for consumers'.

The ad in Inside Housing magazine was headlined "No job too big, no job too awful. Clearway: the specialists in dealing with undiscovered deaths, suicides and bio-hazards.' It featured graphic pictures including a photograph of a bed that showed the outline of a human form created by a decomposing body. Smaller pictures included a toilet overflowing with human excrement, a bloodied floor and a bath containing splashes of blood.

Clearway explained that they found it hard to understand why there had been complaints, because the ad was an accurate portrayal of the work they undertook. They explained that they provided an invaluable service for the public, police and coroners. However, the company withdrew the ad.
