Toshiba bets on nuclear power with purchase of Westinghouse
Toshiba Corp. of Japan, with a freshly signed deal to buy U.S. nuclear-technology concern Westinghouse Electric Co., is counting on the nuclear-power business to boost its earnings in several years.
