More efficient engine
Iver- TOYOT A vehicles will soon dust equipped with a sensor to regul the air-to-fuel ratio so as to make th ual more economical and with lower emissions (Machine Design, ng a Vol64, No 21).
Toyota Motor Corp says introduction of the world's first mass-produced combustion pressure sensor will improve fuel economy by 10 per cent without any reduction in power.
The sensor would simultaneously monitor oxygen intake and combustion in the fuel chamber. More efficient on combustion means less fuel ~ . is used and emission of carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide is reduced.
