Parts of draft report prematurely published
Responding to The Indian Express reports, "UPA mega drinking water scheme is also going down the corruption drain' and "If and where they do get water, it's not safe to drink', published on March 4 and March 5, 2008 respectively, Ministry of Rural Development spokesman S M Khan writes: "The final report of CAG will be finalised only after the response from the concerned states on the specific points pointed out in the draft report is received, the parts of which have been prematurely published by The Indian Express.'
