Byappanahalli: Metro on time
Sources in BMRCL told Deccan Herald that the state-of-the-art Byappanahalli station would be a terminal station, located between Old Madras road and the railway station at Byappanahalli. The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), keen to have the train on track by the 2010-11 deadline, has completed the design process for the Byappanahalli station, a major public transport hub in the eastern part of the City. With this, the BMRCL has completed the design process of all stations in Reach One. The construction tender for the project will be called on May 25.
