Rise in number of tourists visiting Corbett
At the end of the tourist season on June 30, the Corbett Tiger Reserve recorded a remarkable increase in the number of tourist arrivals. Between October 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008, the reserve earned Rs 2.86 cr as revenue and 1,77,399 tourists visited it, said CTR director Rajiv Bhartari.
