Farmers' problems serious
First week of Sawan is about to complete. White, black and brown patches of clouds are seen moving in the sky and disappearing towards any direction. Scorching heat of the sun seems like the midday April month and nights are full of heat and humidity. Farmers themselves are experiencing the absence of the monsoon rains. It may be recalled how the rabi and pulse crops had been hit by frost and the farmers of MP had to face heavy losses. Farmers sometimes express their pain and anger as the government has as yet not assessed the loss of their crops in several areas.
