SRA project: HC asks panel to come up with decision in 6 weeks
Mumbai, August 21 The Bombay High Court on Thursday directed the high-powered committee, looking into the complaints pertaining to Slum Rehabilitation Authority schemes, to decide on the demolition of buildings in Bandra's Pereirawadi within six weeks, and asked the government to follow its stay order on demolition of structures. A division bench comprising Chief Justice Swatanter Kumar and Justice A P Deshpande directed the panel to hear the case and give an order within six weeks.
