NREGA doing well in totality
New Delhi,Sept. 1: Comparing the achievements of UPA with that of previous NDA regime on the employment front, deputy chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia said, with flagship programme under National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA), the government had been able to generate three times more jobs since it came to power. Though, NREGA schemes were a great success and could be taken as talking points to market the achievements of the government, all states are not equal at the implementation level.
