China quake toll rises to 38, relief work on
Beijing, Sept. 1: The toll in the 6.1-magnitude quake that hit southwestern China on Saturday rose to 38 on Monday, as massive relief and rescue operations continue. Huili county, the worst hit in Sichuan, registered five more deaths on Monday, pushing the death toll from 20 to 32 in the region, Xinhua news agency reported.
