CM widens scope of mining probe
DH News Service, Bangalore: On his 100th day in office on Tuesday, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa declared that the scope of the Lokayukta probe into illegal mining in the State would be widened to include licences issued during the last two years also. Before a packed gathering at Banquet Hall in Vidhana Soudha here, Yeddyurappa listed 121 achievements of his government during its first 100 days. Besides, the chief minister announced the setting up of a committee to monitor the quality of civil works taken up by various government departments.
