Policy to check pollution urged
The Sindh Minister for Human Rights, Nadia Khan Gabol, urged the environment and transport departments and the traffic police to jointly evolve a comprehensive policy to combat environmental pollution. In a statement issued on Tuesday, she said that smoke-emitting vehicles were the major sources of environmental pollution. Polluted environment, she said, not only affected the common citizens but also the traffic police personnel deployed all across the city.
