22% less rainfall in Kerala
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 2008 edition of the South-West monsoon was weak over Kerala with 22 percent less rainfall than normal. The State received only 168 cm of rain from June to September, against the normal 214 cm, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
