Panel inspects illegal quarries in nilgiris
Udhagamandalam, A high level committee comprising Ambuj Sharma, principal secretary , Revenue Department, M S Farooqi, principal secretary, Industries Department, Mani Shankar, High Court lawyer, and Sridhar Ramamoorthy , an expert from the Geological Institute in New Delhi, inspected quarries in the Nilgiris district and received petitions from the public on Tuesday.
