Pest attack may hamper aman paddy production in Kurigram
Production of Transplantation Aman (T-Aman) paddy is likely to face set-back this year in Kurigram district, due to attack by varieties of pest and bacterial diseases and price hike of urea fertiliser. This pest attack may hamper production and farmers are very disappointed in the area, sources said. They may not get their expected T-Aman production due to pest invasion this year.
