Rights panel tells state to revive TB sanatorium
SUKANYASHETTY MUMBAI, APRIL 7A THE State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has ordered the state government to cough out Rs 90 lakh to revive the ailing tuberculosis sanatorium at Arangaon in Ahmednagar following a complaint filed by a local activist. Set up on an enormous 25acre land and catering only to the destitute, the tuberculosis sanatorium is in a pathetic state.
