Wailing over a murdered lake: the Badha
Badha lake at the periphery of Fazilka town has dried up. The Badha lake, with its fresh water source and green surroundings was the attraction for establishing the boating station at this place. Now that it was dried up and is likely to be never change with water from Sutlej. The river itself has dried up resulting in irreparable damage to the flora and fauna and human habitation in this region.
