India may cut emissions by 50%: Report
India could cut down its carbon emissions by 30-50 per cent in the next two decades to 2.8-3.6 carbon dioxide equivalent (C02e) a year, if it utilises appropriate energy efficiency practices, a study by McKin-sey & Company has indicated.
