Not a drop to spare
The level 5 water restrictions effective from April 26 say:
- Garden beds, trees and shrubs may be sprayed with hand held hose, micro sprays or bucket between 5 pm and 6 pm on Sundays only
- Watering lawns or hard surfaces including cars is banned
- Spas and swimming pools cannot be topped up with water from the city supply system
- Using water from rainwater tank is allowed if it is not connected to the city supply network
