Status report on implementation of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act
This report includes the status report on implementation of the Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 [for the period ending 28th February, 2010]. An updated status of State-wise implementation of the Act is given in Annexure-I. As per the information collected till 28th February 2010, more than 27.16 lakh claims have been filed and more than 7.59 lakh titles have been distributed. More than 36 thousand titles were ready for distribution.
