This handbook, comprised of 14 chapters and a glossary, is the product of collaborative efforts between environmental activists and ecological economists from around the world, all belonging to the CEECEC network This handbook is a draft stand-alone toolkit for teaching and learning ecological economics through front-line activist experience and knowledge. The chapters deal with high-stakes environmental conflicts and issues, and while the contents are mainly geared to environmental justice organizations and to civil society, they will also be most useful to academics researching and teaching in the sustainability sciences, and policy makers working to promote sustainability at different levels.
