SHIFTING OF INDUSTRIES
Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit has said that the city government will soon approach the Supreme Court (SC) to seek more time for relocation of industries. She added that the process of shifting industries has already started. Delhi industries minister Narendra Nath said the government would need at least two more years for the relocation process to be completed. The chief minister said that the government has already acquired 13,000 acres of land in Bawana for the relocation of industries.
