Bangalore rides on LPG

the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (kspcb) has tied up with a Canadian government agency to try out a new gas kit expected to give greater mileage, increase fuel efficiency and reduce pollution through emissions. Since two weeks 25 autos in the city have been fitted with these. "We are going to monitor carbon dioxide and hydrocarbon emission, fuel efficiency and noise once in 15 days for four months,'' said M N Jayaprakash, senior environmental officer, kspcb, who has also been supplied with monitoring equipment.
