Madhya Pradesh state action plan on climate change: draft
In order to enhance the adaptive capacities of its population to climate change and ensure sustainable development with inclusive growth, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has drafted its State Action Plan on Climate Change (SAPCC), in which it envisages to factor in climate change concerns in its developmental planning and chartering a path of low carbon development. The State aims to develop climate resilient policies, develop knowledge management mechanism for informed decision making and undertake effective monitoring and evaluation to identify entry points for climate proof actions and also to identify the lacunae in actions.
