LAND DISPUTE
Delhi's district and sessions court has overruled objections raised by 26 shut down polluting industries, regarding the land that has to be surrendered by them to the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). This order was given with reference to a earlier judgement of the Supreme Court, which stipulated that all polluting industries should be shifted outside Delhi and they should hand over 57-68 per cent of their land to the DDA, which will use it for reviving the environment.
