Renewable energy potential assessment and renewable energy action plan for Bihar
The World Institute of Sustainable Energy has been supported by the Department for International Development, Govt. of UK, to undertake a study for preparing a Renewable Energy Action Plan for Bihar. The key objectives of the study are: To estimate the potential of renewable energy in Bihar and identify key policy, institutional and operational constraints for realizing the potential; and To draft a renewable energy action plan for the next five years in active consultation with key government and private sector stakeholders in order to facilitate an attractive investment climate for renewable energy development in the state.
