Lumatec of Austin, Texas, USA, is selling a wafer-thin flashlight that is small enough to be slipped into a shirt pocket, wallet or calendar/ organiser. Dubbed Flashcard, it features a super bright krypton bulb, a dome-shaped on/off switch, and a mercury-free battery. This flat light device is water-proof to a depth of 38.1 metres and operates in hot and cold temperatures. Priced at US $7, Flashcard can he used upto five seconds a day for two years.
