Latest AWG-LCA amalgamated text to be presented to the Conference of the Parties for adoption at its seventeenth session
Throughout the year, the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) has been working on the preparation of a balanced and comprehensive outcome to be presented to the Conference of the Parties (COP) for adoption at its seventeenth session to enable the full, effective and sustained implementation of the Convention through long-term cooperative action now, up to and beyond 2012, pursuant to the results of the thirteenth and sixteenth sessions of the COP and recognizing that the work of the AWG-LCA includes both implementation tasks and issues that are still to be concluded.
