TB TREATMENT
The Delhi government has been asked by the Delhi High Court to file an affidavit on a petition by the All-India Lawyers Union alleging inadequate treatment facilities for tuberculosis (TB) patients in the capital. Several government officials, however, told the court that there was no shortage of medicines for tuberculosis patients. The health secretary of Delhi submitted that the government was planning to increase the number of laboratories conducting TB tests. At present there are only 14 such laboratories in the capital.
