Audit report on performance audit of 'land allotment' in Andhra Pradesh for the year 2011-2012

This performance audit report on land allotment by CAG covering the period 2006 to 2011 has identified serious irregularities in land allotments by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

This Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India contains the results of performance audit of ‘Land Allotment’ in Andhra Pradesh during the five year period 2006-11. The objective of this performance audit was to assess whether the processes followed for land allotment were compliant with the legal framework and were transparent, consistent and protected the interest of the State, and appropriate value was realized while alienating land.
