DIARRHOEA DEATHS
According to health experts, every year, nearly 300,000 Pakistani children die of diarrhoea before reaching the age of five. The experts revealed this while commenting on the role of mass media in the control of diseases at a seminar in Quetta, jointly organised by the United Nations International Children's Education Fund, the Pakistan Paediatric Association and the Baluchistan government. Senior doctors attending the seminar said that nearly 600 children die in Pakistan every day from diarhhoea.
