Coastal trouble
environmentalists in Karnataka allege that there has been a large-scale violation of the Coastal Regulation Zone (crz) notification in the state. Surveys conducted by the Guruvayanakere-based Nagarika Seva Trust, a voluntary organisation, show that there are at least 95 cases of violations of the crz notification along the Karnataka coastline.
