PLANT MENACE
A division Bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court has issued a notice to the State Pollution Board on a public interest writ petition complaining that the common effluent plant, located at Patancheru and Bollaram, instead of treating the pollutants was creating serious pollution. The petitioner, A Krishna Rao a resident of Patancheru, alleged that the plant did not have the capacity to treat and store the pollutants of Hyderabad and Sikandarabad.
