Clean Air Island
Clean Air Island was formed in 1995 by scientists and naturalists to improve the quality of life of mega cities. Clean Air Island has developed, as its core competency, the ability to mobilize individuals in government, business and the non-profit sector to act as catalysts for environmental initiatives. They aim at promoting vermiculture, pollution free vehicles, and greening projects to solve some of the waste management and air quality problems of a city of Mumbai.
