Fish and foul Chemical analysis of the famous fish medicine to treat asthma, administered free of cost to millions every June in Hyderabad by members of the Goud family, has revealed it contains no known medication for the disease. The tests were carried out following a recent order of the Hyderabad High Court, issued on a public interest petition filed by C L Venkata Rao, honorary secretary of the Indian Medical Association, Hyderabad. The pil charges the Goud family with breaching the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act 1954 for not divulging the composition of the cure.
